Gyan Institute of Management and Technology organized an academic orientation program “AROHAN” on 15th September 2008. Prof. S. B. Singh (Ex-Vice Chancellor, University of Lucknow) was the Chief Guest of the function. Mr. O.P. Shukla (G.M Finance, P.C.D.F Lucknow), Prof. D.P. Mishra (Dept of Commerce University of Lucknow) & Prof. A. Chatterjee (Head, Dept of Commerce, University of Lucknow) were the guest of honor.
Prof. S.B. Singh in his speech told the students that managers are not born they are made only. He emphasized upon the importance of entrepreneurship. He also shared the golden words that there is a co-relation between expectation, challenges and outcome of any program. He emphasized upon soft skills and shared with the students the art of effective communication.
Several cultural events like solo song, solo dance, group dance, & Antakashari were also organized on the occasion of AROHAN.
AROHAN finally concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. S. H. Shabbir and distribution of the prizes by Prof. R. K. Tripathi, the Director, GIMT, and Prof. J. N. Shukla. |
