Sankalp

On 13th March, 2008 G.I.M.T celebrated its annual function Sankalp-2008 at Ganna Sansthan, Lucknow. Prof. Prem Vrat, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, U.P Technical University, Lucknow, inaugurated the event. While addressing the students he emphasized on certain qualities, which they should develop in their lives like learning to learn, Positive attitude, Quality and excellence in whatever they do in their lives. He further mentioned the importance of concern for others, which is lacking in our new generation. He also talked about the concept of teamwork in the modern scenario.

Cash Prizes were given by Prof. Prem Vrat, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, U.P Technical University, Lucknow to the meritorious students.

In this academic-cum-cultural fest various competitive events were organized like Solo-song, Group Dance, Skit, Business Quiz and Antakashari.

Institutions like Sahara Arts & Management Academy, Rameshwaram Institute of Technology and Management, Modern Girls College of Professional Studies, Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management and Development Studies, Motilal Rastogi School of Management, Sherwood College of Professional Management and NIS Academy participated in the event.

G.I.M.T did not compete in the competition and students participated as fillers such as Solo-Song, Group Dance, Laughter Challenge and Skit.

Chairman Mr. Mohit Gupta, Director Prof. R.K. Tripathi, Prof. S.H Shabbir and Prof. J. N. Shukla distributed prizes to the winners of the corresponding events.

The role of faculty and staff was instrumental in making the event successful.
