Arohan
The
Gyan Institute of Management and Technology
organized an academic orientation programme
“AROHAN” on 30th September 2007.Mayor, Dr.
Dinesh Sharma was the Chief Guest of the
function and Prof. R.S.Yadav, Pro VC, Lucknow
university was the special guest of the
occasion. Prof. A. Chatterjee (Director, BMS
Program, Lucknow University), Prof. D.P. Mishra,
(Head, Department of commerce, University of
Lucknow, Lucknow ) Prof. B.L. Bajpai (Head,
Department of Business Administration,
University of Lucknow, Lucknow ), Prof. A. K.
Bajpai (OSD, IMS, University of Lucknow,
Lucknow) were also present on that occasion.
Mayor Dinesh Sharma in his speech told the
students how to use the new technologies to
expand their horizon of knowledge. Several
cultural events, like, solo song, group dance,
Antakshari and quiz were also organized on the
occasion of Arohan. The NIS Academy Lucknow also took part in the cultural programmes.
The
inaugural programme concluded with a vote of
thanks by Mr. S. H. Shabbir, Principal of Gyan
College of Management. The programme was
organized under the chief co-ordinatorship of
Dr. Amit Kumar Mishra who was assisted by Mr.
Imranur Rehman. Mr. J.P.Pathak,
Mr. Avinash Bajpai, Mr. S.P.Pandey, Mr.
Sanjeev Verma, Ms Maya Lohani, Ms Sikha Tyagi,
Ms Sarita Bajpai and Mr. Manish Dwivedi, the
faculty members of GIMT acted as the event Co-ordinators.
The
programme finally concluded with the
distribution of prizes to the winners by our
Director Prof. R. K. Tripathi and our senior
professor Mr. J.N.Shukla. |
